The season 2011-2012 is very promising ! Solo concerts and –recordings, recitals and chamber music concerts are planned in Europe, Venezuela, South-Africa and the USA.
On of the highlights is going to be the CD recording of the clarinet concertos by John Corigliano and Jan Van der Roost with the Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Paul Meyer. Also the new invitation from the prestigious “Simon Bolivar Foundation” is very promising.
We expect 2 more CD releases (Aliud). The first brings 6 clarinet quartets by Franz Hoffmeister. 3 of them are published, the other 3, Eddy Vanoosthuyse has found in a library in Switzerland. The second CD has been recorded with the Royal Band of the Belgian Guides (cond. Yves Segers) with music of Scott McAlister and Malcolm Arnold among others.
Eddy Vanoosthuyse will be a jury member for important international competitions in Belgium, Italy and the USA.
Masterclasses and guest professorships in Europe, America, Asia and South-Africa will color this overfull and very impressive season!
Besides of all that, Eddy Vanoosthuyse is the principal clarinet of the prestigious “Brussels Philharmonic”, and the clarinet professor at the Royal Conservatory in Gent (Hogeschool Gent).
